We had a smooth 8 hour flight from Sydney back to Singapore. We were stressing about whether or not we would be able to make our flight from Singapore to London. There was a 1 1/2 hour layover, but we had to make a trip to pick up our luggage that was being stored in the airport.
We basically ran to get our luggage and check-in for our flight. Everything worked out perfectly though. Plenty of time.
And, it was my first experience on Singapore Airlines. WOW doesn't even begin to describe the amazing airplane experience. The services and comforts were AMAZING!
Each of our seats were really big enough to fit two people in economy.
After almost 14 hours of flying from Singapore, we arrived in London early in the morning. While we had some sleep on the airplane, we were all really tired. Traveling is always exciting, but also exhausting!
We checked into the hotel, had some quick breakfast, and Steven headed to work.
As I wanted to try to keep Brandon on a schedule, he and I took off for some adventure. We didn't have to go very far though... Our hotel was located right next to London's aquarium and the London Eye. Why not do both? :)
We enjoyed the aquarium first.
Then, we went up in the London Eye.
The building on the left is the building the aquarium and our hotel was in.
Great views of London from the Eye. I probably enjoyed the Singapore Flyer a little more. Singapore is a newer city, which I think has more of an eye-catching skyline. Plus, we were up in the Flyer after sunset. Since London is much older, there aren't as many tall and modern buildings. As I was also trying to keep my attention on Brandon while we were up in the Eye, I wasn't able to focus on finding harder to see London landmarks. Still quite beautiful though.
We walked back to the hotel for our naps. I had to set an alarm so that we would wake up and not sleep the rest of the day. Trying to work on the jetlag...

We had a short afternoon post-naps. We took a short walk, played in the hotel room, and had an early to bed night.
Almost hard to remember what city and timezone we're in sometimes...
